Competitive Compensation: $21-45/hour

Come grow with us by joining our team as a CNG Technician! In this critical role, you will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments. You must have the ability to diagnose, test, and repair vehicles and an understanding of using computerized diagnostics equipment and service manuals. The position requires experience in one or more of the following areas: Automobile, Medium/Heavy Truck, School Bus, and Transit Bus. We are looking for candidates with CNG Mechanic/ Tech Experience in install, maintenance and repair of Compressed Natural Gas powered commercial vehicles. Candidates must have a current Driver’s License. Position reports to the Service Manager.

• Guaranteed 40 Hours per week – Hourly -- not flat rate.

• Recent verifiable experience in light or medium duty automotive service facility
• Experience in or certifications in CNG or alternative fuel conversions, maintenance and repair
• Knowledge of Compressed Natural Gas vehicle repairs, maintenance and certified tank inspections preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in Automobile, Medium/Heavy Truck, School Bus, or Transit Bus maintenance is essential.
• Access to necessary hand tools with Tool Program support.
• Valid Driver’s License for vehicle classes working on. CDL is a Plus.
• Proven ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and punctuality are essential.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Will be required to do frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and climbing to perform multiple tasks of position.
• Must have good manual dexterity.
• Must have the ability to maintain a valid driver’s license, which includes successfully completing Medical Exam, Driving Test, and all other license requirements.
