Overview

Compensation: $17-20/hour


Join our team as a Service Administrator! In this role, you will document customer vehicle concerns, manage repair orders, and handle warranty responsibilities. Excellent customer service skills and automotive/bus industry knowledge are essential. You will be the first point of contact for customers in the service department, ensuring a helpful and knowledgeable demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Check vehicle condition upon arrival
  • Communicate service requirements with customers
  • Fill out repair orders and warranty paperwork
  • Write up retail work orders following guidelines
  • Track vehicle status and communicate updates to customers
  • Coordinate with sales, parts, and warranty departments
  • Assist with filing warranty claims and obtaining approvals
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors, customers, and employees
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of service writing/warranty or customer service experience
  • Understanding of service and parts departments and warranty processes
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized and punctual
  • Proficient with computer data processing
  • Bilingual is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Work in both office and outdoor environments
  • Frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and climbing
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Good manual dexterity
