Overview

Come grow with us by joining our team as a Technical Program Manager!  In this role, you will play a critical role for the company and will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments. We’re searching for a highly qualified technical program manager to help us maintain our position as a strategic authority. The ideal candidate will have industry experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans. The technical program manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our goals are being achieved.

Responsibilities

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:

  • Build and develop the team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope and schedule   
  • Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule to ensure that project requirements can be met
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on program or project status and changes
  • Stay informed about industry trends and new products
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and manufacturers
  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
  • Provide technical expertise and manage qualification and evaluations of suppliers and manufacturers
  • Ownership of technical product information for all channels, internal and external.  Channels include, but are not exclusive to, print, email, digital, and internal documentation
  • Drive product and process improvements within the organization

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Four or more years of project or program management experience
  • 4-year degree or relevant experience in business and or engineering
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
  • Proven success working with all levels of management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Travel 10%

Physical Requirements

  • May be required to do frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and climbing to perform multiple tasks of position.
  • Must have good manual dexterity
  • Must have the ability to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay Range

$100,000 to $130,000
