Overview

Come grow with us by joining our team as an Inventory Manager!  In this role, you will play a critical role for the company and will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Coordinator to be accountable for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and ensuring efficient stock to production flow. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability. Conduct regular cycle counts and reconciliations to maintain accurate inventory records and trigger reorders.
  • Order Processing: Coordinate with off-site procurement team to place orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery of goods. Manage outbound shipments and oversee receiving processes.
  • Data Entry and Analysis: Enter inventory data into management systems accurately. Analyze inventory levels and trends, prepare reports, and provide insights to support inventory decisions.
  • Inventory Organization: Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to maximize space and accessibility. Assist in implementation of inventory control procedures to minimize loss and discrepancies.
  • Quality Control: Inspect incoming goods for quality and accuracy. Address any issues with damaged or incorrect items and coordinate returns or exchanges as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with off-site departments such as sales, procurement, and other warehouse teams to coordinate inventory-related activities and resolve any issues.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies and industry regulations related to inventory management. Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance purposes.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience: Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role. Familiarity with inventory management processes and software/systems.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in inventory management or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CILT).
  • Experience with [specific inventory management software or systems used by the company].

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Capable of standing or walking for extended periods.

Pay Range

60,000 to 75,000
