Overview

Come grow with us by joining our team as an Operations Manager!  In this role, you will play a critical role for the company and will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments. You will oversee the daily operations of our Summerville production facility, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and efficient workflow.  You will work closely with various off-site departments to streamline processes, while directly managing on-site resources to ensure operational performance.  Your role will be critical in achieving our business goals through unit production and maintaining high standards of quality at the Summerville facility.

Responsibilities

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:

  • Operational Oversight:  Manage and coordinate daily operational activities, including production, logistics and material management.
  • Process Improvement:  Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency to reduce costs, and increase overall productivity.
  • Team Leadership:  Lead and mentor a team of staff members, setting clear goals, providing feedback and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Budget Management:  Monitor location expenditures and ensure financial targets are met
  • Problem Resolution:  Address operational issues and challenges promptly, implementing effective solutions to mitigate disruptions.
  • Quality:  Ensure adherence to company quality standards, industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:  Work with other departments, such as HR, Finance, Fixed Operations and Sales to support location initiatives and objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing supervision with a proven track record of managing teams, driving performance, and optimizing processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in process improvement methodologies.
  • Exceptional performance management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite)

Pay Range

$85,000 to $100,000
