Overview

Come grow with us by joining our team as a Retail Sales Administrator!  In this role, you will play a critical role for the company and will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments. You will be serving the Retail Sales Team through generating proposals, keeping records and reports up to date, while ensuring all vehicles go through the back-end sales process quickly and efficiently.  You will be the person on the team whom everyone will rely on for quick proposals, accurate details, and support.  In this role, you will gain important skills allowing for growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:

  • Daily Tasks
    • Serve as resource for the Outside Sales Representatives, helping them quickly quote customers.
    • Develop and maintain business relationships with internal customers and generate or update quotes for the organization’s products/services.
    • Provide support to sales team by answering product related questions promptly – pricing, marketing material and target customer profiles.
    • Review the Retail Team’s log of sales utilizing proprietary software.  With review, will inform Sales Representatives of pending status’ of vehicles through the shop, DMV approval, payment approval, etc. This role is not responsible for obtaining approvals, but for informing of current status.
  • Weekly Tasks
    • Attend regional shop production meetings.  Inform sales representatives if there are new issues regarding the vehicle(s).
    • Create a best method of communication to talk with each Outside Sales representative on a weekly basis.
  • General
    • This role will focus mostly managing vehicles through the sales process from signed order through to delivery. 
    • Maintain the company’s current pricing tools utilized by sales representatives.
    • Generate regular reports to update staff on inventory finishing at the factory, aging inventory, etc. 
    • Maintain the database for where Model 1 keeps its proposals.
    • Collaborate and strategize with Manager and assigned Retail Sales Representatives to develop new tools increasing efficiency.
    • Co-Maintain the General Sales email account.
    • Generate monthly reports.
    • Serve as a backup for Inside Sales to answer phone calls and internet leads, determining if they are a Transactional customer, Account, or National Account.
    • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years administrative experience a plus.
  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for internal customers.
  • Must be a great problem solver and have critical thinking skills.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) applications. 

 

Physical Requirements 

  • Work will be performed in an office setting.
  • May be required to sit in long intervals and climb stairs
  • Must have good manual dexterity
