Job Summary: The Public Sector Sales Administrator supports a sales team in a multi-state region with administrative functions in the sales of Model 1 Commercial Vehicles, Inc. products, services, and brand to customers engaged in operations that serve the public.

Responsibilities

Duties:

  • Sales Support:
    • Review order confirmations; audit orders against quotations; track submission and return of order confirmations; tracks manufacturing, shipping, prep, and delivery of pre-sold vehicles; attends weekly production meetings with service and purchasing groups.
  • Reporting:
    • Assists sales representatives in creating and maintaining sales reporting through CRM; tracks sales performance and bookings for territory; tracks bid activity and results.
  • Planning:
    • Assists Regional Vice President to carryout annual objectives, including planning of customer events; demonstration schedules; training; trade show scheduling, product launch coordination, and quarterly reporting.
  • Customer Service:
    • Interact with customers or their representatives for registration, titling, and delivery instructions; attends pre-production, production, and post-production meetings; schedules inspections. Administrative:
  • Monitoring:
    • Ensure the organization follows district regulatory requirements; alerts sales team to issues in production schedule; alerts accounting department of delivery completion.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of experience in sales, or other organizational support
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for
  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications (especially Excel), enterprise management software; and contact management software.

Pay Range

$28-$35
