Model 1 Chevrolet of Kentland is looking to add Service Advisors to our growing team. Service Advisors are the primary contact between the dealership Service Department and our customers. A successful candidate will have great communication skills, high levels of patience, and the ability to effectively address customer concerns in the moment.

Service Advisor Responsibilities

• Oversee flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
• Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled
• Distribute work between technicians efficiently
• Follow warranty guidelines for repairs

Service Advisor Qualifications

• Organized and friendly personality
• Demonstrated ability to manage others
• Time management skills
• Fantastic communication skills with your customers
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
• Clean driving record
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
• Experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Work will be performed both in an office environment as well as an outside area
• May be required to do frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling and climbing to perform multiple tasks of position
• Must have good manual dexterity
• Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
